On August 1st of this year, Debra's book "Escaping Ukraine 1920" was released to the public. We were so honored she chose our little rag-tag publishing house to create her family history, but more than that, we loved the stories of each family member, especially Boruch Tzepeniuk aka Grandpa Ben Shipnuck. Miss Proper couldn't get that one story out of her head, and so, today she sent in that story as a nomination for the Pushcart Prize.
