April
is National Poetry Month and Proper Publishing is proud to host the 2nd annual
student poetry contest. There is no theme for April's contest. We want to see
creativity, unique style, form exploration, and a true appreciation for the power
of words.
Unfortunately,
we often see entire class packets submitted with the same topic, style, form,
prompt, etc. Our goal is to encourage growth as well as individual artistic
expression. Please allow your students to explore the art of words in their own
way.
